Santa Spotting in Kalgoorlie Boulder

Santa Claus touches down in Kalgoorlie Boulder this weekend and he’s got a very busy itinerary! We’ve put together this handy field guide to help you spot the big man in red this festive season.

Carols in the Park & Boulder Night Market

4:30pm-9pm Friday 24th November
Loopline Park Burt Street Boulder
Santa visits at 7pm 

Celebrate the start of the festive season with the lighting of the Boulder Christmas Tree during our annual ‘Carols In The Park’, and do some Christmas shopping whilst strolling along Burt Street for the Boulder Night Market from 4:30pm. Pack a picnic, bring the family and get ready to sing your heart out!

Markets begin at 4:30pm along Burt St and carols in Loopline Park when the sun begins to set. A fabulous family friendly event with your favourite festive tunes!

Lighting of the Christmas Tree Street Party

This year marks the 10th Christmas Street Party and it’s better than ever! Featuring fireworks, a visit from Mr and Mrs Claus, local entertainment, activities and stalls. Don’t forget to look for our special Snapchat geofilter!

Kazoos Search for Santa

4pm Friday 1st December
Goldfields Arts Centre

Santa has forgotten how many sleeps there are until Christmas! Join the Kazoos at the Goldfields Arts Centre in this high energy, entertaining and interactive show, “A Search for Santa”. Created for children 12 years and under, the show features a host of original songs, well known carols, comedy and plenty of Christmas cheer.

Santa visits the Museum of the Goldfields

Follow the snowflake trail to find Santa and take a festive photo. There will also be free activities for children and a sausage sizzle ($2.50 each). Santa photos are $10 each, or two for $15, or three for $20.

Don’t miss out on one of the most iconic sights in the Goldfields- a festive 793C dump truck making it’s way down Hannan Street! Stay on after the parade to enjoy live music, comedy, history and cultural tours care or E13’s Sundowner Shows.

Carols in Kal 2017

Carols by Candlelight in Kalgoorlie-Boulder has become a ‘must attend’ event on the local calendar. Each year the churches of Kalgoorlie-Boulder come together to present a community Christmas carols festival with music, entertainment, participation, food and activity stalls under the stars at Centennial Park.

Santa’s Fire Truck at Kidznco

10am-1pm 17th December

Santa Claus is parking up his big red Fire Truck at Kidznco this December! Make a day of it with the awesome activities and play equipment in this air-conditioned all weather play centre, and the grown ups can enjoy an espresso coffee and lunch Green Bean Cafe.

Christmas in the Park

11am-2pm Monday 25th December
Centennial Park

The aim of Christmas in the Park is to ensure that no individual or family in Kalgoorlie-Boulder go without on Christmas Day due to financial, personal or family circumstances. You can picnic on the lawns or sit at the tables in the sound shell.Everything provided at Christmas in the Park is free of charge – a lovely pre packed Christmas lunch, drinks, ice creams, slushies, entertainment for the kids including bouncy castles, games, face painting, and of course a visit from Father Christmas!
